The story of VM Carpet begins in the 1970s, and the name VM Carpet comes from the Viita-aho carpet factory. Arto and Aila Viita-aho founded the carpet weaving mill in 1973. VM Carpet's Rugs is still manufactured with the same friendly and honest but innovative attitude. Rugs is manufactured in Lappajärvi, and today VM Carpet is Finland's largest carpet factory, genuinely Finnish.

Modern production and nearly half a century of experience create a unique way of producing Rugs. People make Rugs for people. In addition to its own production, VM Carpet has invested in good design from the very beginning. How do I return a product, and is there a charge for this?

You have the right to return your order in full or in part within 14 days of receiving it. The right of return applies only to unused and saleable products in their original packaging.

You can, of course, try out the rug in different rooms in your home to see how it looks. Rug goes with your interior design.

The return fee is €7.90., which will be deducted from the total price of the returned products. The return shipping cost will also be deducted from shipments that are returned uncollected by the shipping company. Returns are free of charge when the product is returned directly to Mattokeidas to a store in Tampere or Turku.

If the product is defective or has been damaged in transit, Mattokeidas Oy (Mattokeidas.(fi) pay the return costs.

Exceptions / non-returnable products

Please note that custom-made products are not eligible for return. Products that require assembly are also not eligible for return.

For large rugs with a shortest side longer than 240 cm, we charge a return fee of €39.00, which will be deducted from the total price of the returned products. In these cases, please contact us first. info@mattokeidas.en we will order a pickup for the product.
