We deliver products from our warehouse in Finland. If you live and order from a country outside the EU, you may be asked to complete customs clearance and pay customs duties. Please contact us first: info@mattokeidas.fi

You have the right to return your order, in full or in part, within 14 days of receiving it. The right of return applies only to unused, saleable products in their original packaging. You are, of course, welcome to try the rug in different rooms of your home to see how it fits your interior.

The return fee in Finland is €7.90, which will be deducted from the total refund amount. This fee also applies to shipments returned automatically due to non-collection. Returns are free of charge when brought directly to a Mattokeidas store in Tampere or Turku.

For other EU countries, the return fee is €19.90.

If the product is faulty or damaged during transport, Mattokeidas Oy (Mattokeidas.fi) will cover all return costs.

Exceptions / Non-returnable items

Please note that custom-made rugs are non-returnable. Products that require assembly are also excluded from returns.

For large rugs (with a shortest side over 240 cm), a €39.00 return fee applies, which will be deducted from the refund. In these cases, please contact info@mattokeidas.fi first so we can arrange the pickup for you.

Of course you can! Choosing the right rug, color, and pattern can sometimes be tricky, so we want to make your decision easier.

• You can order a rug sample from our selection and have it delivered directly to your home. Samples are available for rugs and colors that are sold by the meter.
• Please note that we’re unable to provide samples for ready-made sizes or traditional hand-woven cotton or wool rugs.
• VM Carpet You can also order samples of these rugs.
• You can also order samples of selected Narma rugs - For example Credo, Limo, Bono and Bello.
• You may choose 1–4 different samples, each measuring at least 10×15 cm, so you can clearly see the rug’s color and pattern.

How to order a rug sample?

• Go to our Order a sample page, where you can request samples easily using the online form.

• You can also call us at +358 50 501 5668.
• Please let us know which rug and color you’d like a sample of, and provide your contact details — we’ll send the samples to your home free of charge.
• As a Rug sample customer, you’ll also receive an extra -5% discount on your next purchase. (The discount does not apply to gift cards.)

If you do not collect your order within the pickup time, it will be returned to us. Please note that failing to pick up an order is not the same as a return.

A handling fee of €7.90 per shipment will be charged in Finland to cover shipping and processing costs.

For other EU countries, the handling fee is €19.90.

If you’ve placed an order but haven’t received a confirmation email, first check your spam/junk folder — it may have landed there.

In Finland, the delivery time for in-stock items is 2–5 business days. Most orders are processed within 1–2 business days after we receive your order.

For other EU countries, delivery time is 3–9 business days.

For custom-made products and other special orders, delivery time may be longer — approximately 1–4 weeks. Please note that public holidays may cause slight delays. Delivery times also depend on product availability and the destination of the shipment.

If you’re picking up your order from our Tampere or Turku store, please wait for a separate text message notification confirming that your order is ready.

Delivery times for sample orders vary depending on the availability of prepared samples and the workload of our binding workshop. We constantly strive to keep a good selection of ready-made samples to speed up deliveries.

If the delivery time changes significantly from what was stated at the time of purchase, our customer service will contact you. Delays may occasionally occur, for example, if an item is temporarily out of stock at the manufacturer.
