Mattokeidas began in 2021 when entrepreneur Paul Kukkonen set out to realize his long-held dream of opening his own Rug store. From the outset, the company has been built on a strong passion for interior design and solid expertise in the carpet industry.

Paul has over 10 years of experience in the rug industry from various companies, and this expertise is reflected in everything we do.

A passion for entrepreneurship and a desire to serve customers better led to Mattokeidas.fi/ opening an online store and our first physical store in Lielahti, Tampere.

Another Mattokeidas store opened in Turku Kauppakeskus Skanssi Shopping Center in the fall of 2025.

We serve customers throughout Finland and Europe via our online store, while our stores enable us to provide personal service in the Pirkanmaa and Southwest Finland regions.
