Carpet for the bedroom
You should choose a carpet for the bedroom according to the size and space of the bed. The bedroom rug can also be round, in which case the rug can be kept next to the bed.
Choosing a bedroom carpet - 4 tips
1. Soft bedroom carpet
If you wish, you can bring luxury to the space by choosing the softest carpet possible. A pleasant and soft material for the feet is often, for example, linen or wool. The soft line can therefore continue not only in the bed and bedding, but also in the carpet.
2. The carpet in the bedroom can be thick
Unfortunately, you can also choose an extremely thick carpet for the bedroom. A thick carpet brings warmth and softness to the space, and on the other hand, it also makes the space pleasant with acoustics.
3. Big is beautiful
Large rugs that go partially under the bed are also perfect for the bedroom. The rug can also be so large that it extends all the way from under the bed to both sides of it. A good size is chosen so that 50 cm per side of the carpet is visible under the bed. For example like this:
- A 220 cm wide carpet fits under a 120 cm wide bed
- 280cm wide carpet under the 180cm wide bed
4. Prefer clear lines in the sausage
The easiest and most convenient shape for a bedroom rug is a rectangle. The rug then creates a grouped whole with the bed. The most important thing is to think about the bedroom as a whole and ultimately choose the carpet in the shape that you feel is best. Of course, it is good to place the carpet next to the bed so that when you get out of bed it is nice to feel the soft carpet under your feet.
