Mattokeidas was founded in 2021, when entrepreneur Paul Kukkonen set out to fulfill his long-time dream of owning a rug store. From the very beginning, the company has been built on a deep passion for interior design and strong professional expertise in the rug industry.

With over 10 years of experience in the field, Paul’s knowledge and vision are reflected in everything we do. His entrepreneurial drive and desire to offer better customer service led to the creation of the Mattokeidas.fi online store and the opening of our first store in Lielahti, Tampere.

In autumn 2025, Mattokeidas expanded by opening a second store in the Skanssi Shopping Centre in Turku.

Through our online store, we serve customers all across Finland, while our physical stores provide personal service in the Pirkanmaa and Southwest Finland regions.
