Tempo is a hand-woven wool rug whose striking houndstooth pattern adds rhythm and character to your interior. The larger-than-usual pattern combines traditional weaving with a modern look. It pairs just as well with clean-lined furniture as it does with a cozy, layered interior.
Made of 100% wool with a smooth woven surface, Tempo is a practical rug for everyday home life. Wool naturally repels dirt and moisture, making the rug easy to clean. The subtle variations inherent in hand-weaving give each rug its own unique character.
Tempo is part of the IH Collection and is available in seven different colors. Choose the option that suits your home and let the pattern add character to the room.
Tempo serves as a unifying element in living room decor. The distinct pattern stands out beneath a sofa set and adds an interesting detail to the bedroom as well. In the kitchen and dining area, the smooth surface makes everyday cleaning easier.
Choose a rug for the living room that’s large enough to accommodate the front legs of the sofa. Under the dining table, it’s a good idea to leave space behind the chairs so they stay on the rug when you sit down.
The back of the Tempo rug is made of wool, and the rug can be used on either side. Rotate and flip the rug regularly to ensure even wear.
The rug is handwoven in India. Slight variations in the weave and pattern are part of the character of a handmade rug.
Choose from seven color options to select a rug that blends into your decor or makes it the focal point of the room. Pair Tempo with solid-colored textiles if you want to give the houndstooth pattern more room to shine.
Standard sizes are 60 × 90, 130 × 190, 160 × 230, and 200 × 290 cm. Check the size options for your chosen color in the product selection.
Vacuum the rug regularly without using a rotating brush. Avoid robot vacuums and turbo brushes.
Remove small stains immediately with a damp sponge and a small amount of dish soap. Do not scrub; instead, blot dry with a clean cotton cloth. Professional flat-bed cleaning is recommended for washing the entire rug.
