The Ateena rubber-backed Rug is a good all-purpose mat that is suitable for all rooms in the home. The smooth surface of Rug makes it easy to vacuum, and small stains can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth, making Rug ideal for use under the dining table. However, make sure to leave enough space (50-60 cm) for chairs around the table so that they stay on the Rug. The neutral color scheme and clear, simple surface pattern give the rug a modern look. The non-slip rubber base keeps Rug firmly in place, making it a good choice especially for households with children and pets. Rug is a stylish border. With proper care, your mat will last longer!

Ateena rubber-backed Rug should be cared for by regular vacuuming and airing, and washing with water if necessary. Do not take the rubber-backed rug outside in freezing temperatures, as this will cause the Rug backing to become brittle and dry out prematurely.

Use rubber-backed mats with caution on parquet and wooden floors. We do not recommend rubber-backed mats Rugs in rooms with underfloor heating.

How do I return a product, and is there a cost?

You have the right to return your order, in full or in part, within 14 days of receiving it. The right of return applies only to unused, saleable products in their original packaging. You are, of course, welcome to try the rug in different rooms of your home to see how it fits your interior.

The return fee in Finland is €7.90, which will be deducted from the total refund amount. This fee also applies to shipments returned automatically due to non-collection. Returns are free of charge when brought directly to a Mattokeidas store in Tampere or Turku.

For other EU countries, the return fee is €19.90.

If the product is faulty or damaged during transport, Mattokeidas Oy (Mattokeidas.fi) will cover all return costs.

Exceptions / Non-returnable items

Please note that custom-made rugs are non-returnable. Products that require assembly are also excluded from returns.

For large rugs (with a shortest side over 240 cm), a €39.00 return fee applies, which will be deducted from the refund. In these cases, please contact info@mattokeidas.fi first so we can arrange the pickup for you.
