Softcare Carpet Protector 500ml

Softcare Carpet Protector is suitable for all types of textile carpets, from wool to silk, including coconut, jute, and paper yarn carpets. It also protects thick special textiles, such as ryijy rugs. Carpet Protection gives the carpet a dirt-repellent surface, making cleaning easier. Dirt is easily removed from the protected surface and no permanent stains are left behind. The protection does not change the appearance, color, or breathability of the Rug. One bottle (500 ml) can protect 3–4 square meters, depending on the thickness of the Rug.

Instructions for use: Spray the protective agent evenly onto the surface of Rug from a distance of approx. 15 cm onto a dry, clean surface until the surface is damp but not soaking wet. First test the color fastness on an inconspicuous area and protect the surrounding area when spraying (e.g., parquet and wallpaper). Ensure adequate ventilation. The protection lasts for a couple of years under normal use. Not suitable for artificial leather or plastic. Softcare carpet protection does not affect the properties of the textile in any way. Does not contain PFOS compounds. The product is flammable, so do not smoke or spray near open flames when applying the protection.

How do I return a product, and is there a cost?

You have the right to return your order, in full or in part, within 14 days of receiving it. The right of return applies only to unused, saleable products in their original packaging. You are, of course, welcome to try the rug in different rooms of your home to see how it fits your interior.

The return fee in Finland is €7.90, which will be deducted from the total refund amount. This fee also applies to shipments returned automatically due to non-collection. Returns are free of charge when brought directly to a Mattokeidas store in Tampere or Turku.

For other EU countries, the return fee is €19.90.

If the product is faulty or damaged during transport, Mattokeidas Oy (Mattokeidas.fi) will cover all return costs.

Exceptions / Non-returnable items

Please note that custom-made rugs are non-returnable. Products that require assembly are also excluded from returns.

For large rugs (with a shortest side over 240 cm), a €39.00 return fee applies, which will be deducted from the refund. In these cases, please contact info@mattokeidas.fi first so we can arrange the pickup for you.
