Loupelou is a handwoven wool rug whose striking tulip pattern adds a unique touch to your home. The floral design by Swedish designer Louise Videlyck makes the rug an eye-catching focal point in any interior.
The smooth woven surface and wool’s natural stain-resistant properties make it practical for everyday use. Loupelou is available in three color options: rose, red, and gray.
Loupelou is perfect for the living room, bedroom, home office, and dining area. It’s a natural starting point for an interior design where the Rug takes center stage.
Pair Loupelou with a solid-color sofa or throw to let the tulip pattern shine. You can pick out a single shade from the pattern for pillows, curtains, or other details. This creates a cohesive look around the rug without requiring all textiles to be the same color.
Loupelou is handwoven in India. The linen-beige warp is visible in the rug’s fringes. Slight variations in the weave are a natural part of a handmade product.
The rug does not need to be flipped. Rotate it regularly to ensure even wear.
Color options include rose, red, and gray. Standard sizes are 160 × 230 and 200 × 290 cm. Check the size options for your chosen color in the product selection.
For the living room, choose a size that the front legs of your sofa can fit over. Under the dining table, leave enough space to move the chairs around. When arranging the rug, consider how much of the floral pattern will remain visible around the furniture.
Vacuum regularly without using a rotating brush. Avoid robot vacuums and turbo brushes.
Remove small stains immediately with a damp sponge and a small amount of dish soap. Do not rub; instead, blot dry with a clean cotton cloth. Professional flat-wash cleaning is recommended for the entire rug.
