Hilma is a soft pile rug whose wavy pattern is created by variations in pile height. The solid-color surface comes to life through the interplay of higher and lower areas. The result is modern and serene—perfectly patterned even for minimalist interiors.
The long, smooth-to-the-touch pile brings softness to your home. Hilma is part of the IH Collection and is available in three colors: white, brown, and sand.
Hilma works well as a rug to tie together a sofa set or next to the bed in the bedroom. Its understated pattern leaves room for furniture and other textiles.
Pair Hilma with a clean-lined sofa when you want to introduce softer shapes into your decor. Wooden furniture, linen curtains, and various pillow fabrics complete the look. You can keep the room’s tones close to one another or choose a rug that stands out from the colors of the floor and furniture.
Hilma is machine-woven from polyester. The pattern consists of higher and lower pile areas, which give the surface a three-dimensional look. The jute backing supports the rug’s structure. The rug is not reversible.
Hilma is available in white, brown, and sand. Standard sizes are 160 × 230 and 200 × 290 cm. Check the size options for your chosen color in the product selection.
In the living room, the rug should extend under the front legs of the sofa so that the furniture forms a cohesive group. In the bedroom, leave the rug visible on both sides of the bed and at the foot of the bed. Measure your furniture arrangement before ordering to find the right proportions.
Vacuum regularly without using a rotating brush. Avoid robot vacuums and turbo brushes.
Clean small stains with a light-colored, clean cotton cloth dampened with lukewarm water and a small amount of dish soap. Do not scrub. Professional flat-bed washing is recommended for cleaning the entire rug.
