Gränsö is a hand-woven wool rug whose stylized floral pattern and framed composition draw inspiration from Nordic rug traditions. The classic röllakan pattern adds a cozy touch to any interior and pairs beautifully with modern furniture.
Made of 100% wool, it naturally repels dirt, making it easy to keep clean. Gränsö is part of the IH Collection and is available in four colors: green, gray, blue, and beige.
Gränsö is perfect for the living room and dining area, adding a touch of traditional pattern. Pair it with wooden furniture and solid-colored textiles to highlight the rug’s details.
Paired with a sofa or dining table with clean lines, the floral pattern adds softness to the overall look. You can pick out a single shade from the rug for pillows or curtains and keep the other large surfaces neutral. This way, the pattern stands out without making the room feel cluttered.
Gränsö is handwoven in India. The rug can be used on either side. Rotate and flip it regularly to ensure even wear.
Minor variations in the weave are a natural part of a handmade rug.
Color options include green, gray, blue, and beige. Standard sizes are 60 × 120, 80 × 200, 140 × 200, 160 × 230, and 200 × 290 cm.
Check the size options for your chosen color in the product selection. A smaller size is suitable, for example, for next to a bed, and an elongated size for a hallway. In the living room, choose a rug large enough to bring the seating area together. Under the dining table, leave enough space to move the chairs around.
Vacuum regularly without using a rotating brush. Avoid robot vacuums and turbo brushes.
Remove small stains immediately with a damp sponge and a small amount of dish soap. Do not scrub; instead, blot dry with a clean cotton cloth. Professional flat-bed washing is recommended for cleaning the entire rug.
