The charm of the Gotland wool rug lies in its rustic weave and carefully finished edges. The natural-white warp yarn highlights the rug’s texture, and the long, wavy sides of these rectangular rugs lend a soft look. The short sides are finished with a narrow woven border.
IH Collection’s Gotland is handwoven from 100% wool. The soft surface feels pleasant underfoot, and wool’s natural dirt-repellent properties make it easy to keep clean. Seven color options and a wide range of sizes offer choices for both small and large spaces in your home.
Gotland provides a serene foundation for your interior design, allowing the texture of the material to shine through. In the living room, a large rug ties the sofa and armchairs together into a cohesive whole. In the bedroom, a narrow rug fits perfectly next to the bed, while a round rug softens the sharp lines of angular furniture.
Pair Gotland with wooden furniture and solid-color textiles, or let it balance out a patterned sofa and curtains. Under the dining table, choose a size that ensures the chairs remain in place even when pulled out.
Gotland is handmade in India. The rug is approximately 10 mm thick, and the backing is also made of wool. Thanks to its reversible construction, you can use either side.
Because it is handmade, there may be slight variations in color and weave. These contribute to the Rug’s unique character.
Color options include nature mix, brown, gray, nature, sand, green, and white.
Depending on the color, the collection includes the following sizes:
The size selection varies by color. Check the product catalog for the sizes available in your chosen color. Gotland is also available as a Custom Size rug up to 400 cm wide. Dimensions of handmade rugs may vary by approximately ±5%.
Vacuum regularly without a rotating brush and avoid using a robot vacuum. Rotate the Rug occasionally to promote even wear.
Remove small stains immediately with a damp sponge and a small amount of dish soap. Do not scrub. Blot dry with a clean cotton cloth. Professional flat washing is recommended for washing the entire Rug.
