🧼 Care instructions – Wool rug

• Wool rugs naturally repel dirt, making them very easy to care for.
• New Wool rug may shed dust at first, but this will decrease with use as the Rug surface becomes more compact.

• Turn the mat regularly – this will ensure even wear and keep it in good condition for longer.

• Most Wool rugs are washable, but unnecessary washing should be avoided.

• Regular vacuuming and airing are sufficient for basic care.

• In winter, Rug can be freshened up by taking it out into the clean, frosty snow.

• Avoid using a vacuum cleaner with rotating brushes, as these can damage the wool surface.

• If Wool rug is washed:

  • Use cool water and a detergent designed for wool.

  • First dissolve the detergent in water – do not pour it directly onto the rug.

  • Avoid vigorous rubbing and brushing.

  • Rinse with plenty of water until the rinse water is clear.

  • Dry Rug flat, not folded or hung.

How do I return a product, and is there a charge for this?

You have the right to return your order in full or in part within 14 days of receiving it. The right of return applies only to unused and saleable products in their original packaging.

You can, of course, try out the rug in different rooms in your home to see how it looks. Rug goes with your interior design.

The return fee is €7.90., which will be deducted from the total price of the returned products. The return shipping cost will also be deducted from shipments that are returned without being picked up by the shipping company. Returns are free of charge when the product is returned directly to Mattokeidas to a store in Tampere or Turku.

If the product is defective or has been damaged in transit, Mattokeidas Oy (Mattokeidas.(fi) pay the return costs.

Exceptions / non-returnable products

Please note that custom-made products are not eligible for return. Products that require assembly are also not eligible for return.

For large rugs with a shortest side longer than 240 cm, we charge a return fee of €39.00, which will be deducted from the total price of the returned products. In these cases, please contact us first. info@mattokeidas.en we will order a pickup for the product.
