Brief background information about the company

Mattokeidas is passionate about interior design, and above all, Rugs are our passion. The company's story got off to a flying start when everything fell into place at the end of 2021. Mattokeidas Oy purchased Mattokymppi's remaining stock, and thus Mattokeidas will continue as a local carpet store in new premises in Lielahti, Tampere. Mattokymppi Ratina has therefore closed its doors as the company's lease at the Ratina shopping center expired in spring 2022.

Mattokeidas Oy's other founding member and entrepreneur Paul has extensive experience in the carpet industry, having worked in several different carpet stores before becoming an entrepreneur. It was only natural that Paul, who had also worked as an employee at Mattokymppi, would continue the local carpet business in Lielahti, Tampere, as an entrepreneur at Mattokeidas Oy. Mattokeidas was founded in the fall of 2021 and works in close cooperation with Mattokymppi, among others. We consider it important that our main wholesalers are reliable Finnish companies. This enables us to guarantee our customers a straightforward and reliable shopping experience and, above all, to offer products of consistently high quality.
