Wool rug About the material
Since the beginning of the history of carpet weaving, wool has been the first and highest quality material. New Zealand wool is considered to be the best quality wool. Wool is an important material in the textile industry, and high-quality wool is used to make both clothing and carpets. Wool has excellent benefits as a material. Wool is a very durable and warm material. Wool rug withstands even heavy wear and tear and adds warmth to your home décor. The structure of wool is "greasy," so to speak, which means that dirt does not easily stick to it and wool keeps itself clean. Wool rug is also Eco-friendly choice for rugs and other products. The wool is often dyed using a plant-based dyeing method, so the entire wool production process is ecologically sound.

Care instructions for wool rugs
Good to remember
:- Wool is a Easy to care for material
- Naturally dirt-repellent
- Air, vacuum, and brush
- Wool rug wears more evenly if you turn the rug over
- Snow washing brightens and refreshes
- Use Marseille soap and bile soap to remove stains
Vacuum and ventilate the rug regularly; do not beat or shake it. If you shake the rug vigorously, the Rug end stitches or warp threads may break and the Rug may unravel. Always use a smooth carpet nozzle when vacuuming wool carpets. We do not recommend using a robot vacuum cleaner or a beater bar, as the rotating bristles wear down the Rug surface and may damage the fringes. Please note that Wool rug may shed dust, especially at first. However, the wool-free surface will compact with use and dusting will decrease. So be patient at first and vacuum the carpet lightly in the direction of the pile (crosswise), avoiding abrasive movements. Depending on where Rug is used and how much wear and tear it gets, it can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months for the surface to compact. Wool rug will wear more evenly if you turn it regularly. Some of our woven wool rugs are double-sided, meaning you can use both sides of the rug. Wool naturally repels dirt, making it easy to keep clean.
Clean small stains immediately with a grease-based Marseille or bile soap. You can remove loose dirt from the stained area with a shoehorn, for example. Moisten a sponge or microfiber cloth, press lightly, and wipe the stain inward so that it does not spread. Finally, wipe the stain with a lint-free cloth (microfiber cloth) dampened with water; usually, there is no need to rinse a small area. When washing wool rugs, follow the washing instructions in Rug first and foremost. Although Wool rug can often be washed with water on a flat surface, many manufacturers recommend only dry cleaning for rugs. In general, only wash wool rugs when necessary. Unnecessary washing dissolves the wool's own dirt-repellent grease more quickly and dries out the rug. A dried-out Rug can become brittle and produce more dust.
In winter, washing with snow refreshes the wool rug and reduces the need for other types of washing. Take Rug outside and let it cool down properly before throwing Rug into the snow. You can turn the rug over in clean, frosty snow and throw a little snow on Rug as well. Brush the snow off the surface of Rug with a Soft brush and let Rug dry indoors for a while before putting it back on the floor.
